about Jenny

Following University I worked in the City for a number of years, firstly as a reinsurance broker and then as an investment banker. I completed an MBA at London Business School as I was looking for a new direction, something outside the financial sector. After a break to raise my family I joined a very successful start-up business based in Brighton, in what was then – 2000 – a very new area – web-based information management in the education sector.

The business grew very rapidly but became a victim of its own success, and witnessing the problems of handling rapid growth from the inside was what led me to a career in business coaching. I joined an innovative  business coaching company in the UK, worked there for 5 years and saw at first-hand how coaching helps businesses. Large, small, successful, struggling, start-up or mature –a good coaching programme has something for everyone.

Now I want to work with small businesses – those who wouldn’t normally engage with a coach. I love helping people look at why they are in business afresh, and to see them gain energy and confidence from the material and the coaching process.

Outside my coaching work I am active in local environmental groups, and relax by playing bridge and sailing.
